breaks my heart
“Sometimes I play this chick Spencer Hastings on this show Pretty Little Liars. But only sometimes.”
“in high school i was a nerd and very academic. on the weekends, instead of going out and partying, i’d close myself in my room and read shakespeare. i hid from boys. i didn’t know what a boyfriend was, although i think i wanted one.”
“There was a really amazing moment for me, I think it was my junior year at USC, when I was in the theater conservatory, that he [Donald Bellisario - her dad] came up to me after a play, after seeing me in a play and he looked at me and said, ‘Yeah, you can do this and you will!’ And it was this massive moment in my life. I obviously broke down into tears cause, you know, it is kind of like a guy getting his father’s blessing to go marry some girl.”

“I grew up with brothers. Girls terrified me. If a boy was mad at you, he hit you or he’d yell at you. I’m thinking about my brothers…. Boys didn’t go around just hitting me. But it was easy. With girls all of a sudden she’ll tell you ‘That skirt looks ugly on you.’ And you’re like ‘Oh you’re mad at me! I have to figure out what I’ve done.’ I had one really good girl friend all through high school. It’s funny, being on a show that’s so girl heavy I’m enjoying having girl friends for the first time. It’s really cool.” - Troian Bellisario
"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."
